Schedule Day shift; 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30). Weekend coverage is every other weekend. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with CVICU experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and be adept in managing patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including fresh open heart surgeries. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. Assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion / removal and ventilatory support management. Monitor and interpret vital signs, including arterial blood gases and cardiac rhythms. Administer medications and manage IV therapy, arterial lines, and central lines. Collaborate with inter-disciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of acute care experience, with CVICU experience preferred. Active registered nursing license in New Jersey. Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; additional certification in stroke care preferred.
