Senior Backend Software Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Backend Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs for core operational and partner platforms

Refactor existing services to enhance developer productivity and minimize tech debt

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into maintainable code

Qualifications

5+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on modern frameworks and scalable architecture

Proficiency in Python and / or Ruby

Deep understanding of RESTful API design, database modeling, and querying

Experience with BDD or TDD methodologies

Experience with Django or Ruby on Rails is a strong plus
