What to Expect in Your Role

As an R&D Tax Consultant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients across various industries, including manufacturing, technology, and bioscience. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

• Supporting the execution of R&D tax credit engagements, ensuring clients maximize their tax benefits.
• Conducting interviews with technical and financial staff to identify eligible R&D activities and associated costs.
• Collaborating with our offshore team for cost analysis and credit preparation, enhancing the efficiency of our processes.
• Reviewing credit calculations and analyzing supporting cost data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Examining detailed documentation to back R&D tax credit claims, including contracts and agreements.
• Drafting technical narratives and reports to effectively summarize research activities.
• Working alongside senior team members, ensuring adherence to IRS regulations and guidelines.
• Researching updates in R&D tax legislation and industry trends to keep our practices current and effective.
• Embracing innovative tools, including AI, to enhance workflow and deliver results.

Compensation : $63,500-$90,000

Our compensation philosophy is grounded in providing equitable pay. Eide Bailly adheres to all local / state regulations concerning compensation disclosures. Final salary offers will consider factors like experience, education, skills, and geographical location.
