Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical / Oncology to provide exceptional patient care for adults and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior experience in a medical-surgical setting, with strong competency in the administration of chemotherapy and biotherapy.

Responsibilities

  • Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy via IV, PO, or injection.
  • Monitor patients receiving chemotherapy, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response.
  • Manage peripheral lines, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration.
  • Provide care for a range of medical-surgical diagnoses including AKI, Sepsis, and Malignant Neoplasms.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary support services to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Adhere to isolation precautions and demonstrate professional knowledge and skills.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience.
  • Current BLS certification; ONS / ONCC chemotherapy certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong skills in accessing / managing ports and administering blood products.
  • Ability to manage specific conditions, including DKA, septic shock, and various IV therapies.
