About The Position

Hematology-Oncology Locums Need in Washington - M-F Schedule

We have an ongoing locums assignment for a Hematology-Oncology physician in Washington. This role offers a consistent schedule in a mixed inpatient and outpatient setting. Full-time coverage is still needed, so let's connect soon to discuss the details.

Practice Setting

  • Hybrid Model : A combination of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.
  • Patient Population : You will care for an adult patient population.
  • Facility : The practice is located at a Level II Trauma center.

    • Schedule and Cases

  • Daily Volume : See an average of 15-20 patients per day.
  • Case Mix : Handle outpatient and inpatient Hematology-Oncology consults, follow-ups, and ER calls.
  • Call Coverage : Nightly call with a 30-minute response time and a low 5% call-back rate.

    • Requirements

  • Board Status : Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years in Hematology / Oncology or Medical Oncology.
  • Experience : A minimum of 24 months of experience is required.
  • Certifications : Must hold an active BLS certification.

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Licensure : An active Washington medical license is needed to start.
  • Timeframe : Please allow 90-120 days for the credentialing process.
