The User Experience engineering group at CDK focuses on the quality of interactions people have with our technology and searches for professionals that employ User Centered Design principles to join us. UX @ CDK follows a multi-disciplinary approach that centers on users’ emotions, beliefs, preferences, perceptions, and behaviors through an iterative research and design process.

The Senior UX Designer is responsible for the end-to-end experience of a product, a project, or a feature. They will collaborate and co-create with cross-functional product teams internationally, to create joyful user experiences for the challenges faced by the Automotive industry. The Senior UX Designer is expected to

• Work with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering and Design teams to help define product goals, requirements and represent users’ point of view throughout the product planning process.
• Design workflows, solution sketches, wireframes and prototypes to illustrate the best solutions.
• Have working knowledge and experience designing using BI tools like Looker, Power BI, etc.
• Work with engineering teams to deliver the workflows as envisioned in the design process.
• Verify and improve designs through reviews, validations and formal usability testing with end users.
• Conduct Design Sprints, build rapid prototypes and test with real users. Speed and agility are important.
• Make sensible design decisions even when not all data is available and identify and correct possible mistakes, both pre and post shipping of a product or a feature.
• Take ownership of contributing to and evolving our design system.
• Mentor junior members of the team.

Base Salary Range : $119,000 - $150,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and / or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
