This facility is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity :

• Available Shift Length and Scheduling Requirements : 2 CRNAs needed for 5x8 hour shifts. 1 CRNA needed for 24-hour or 12–16-hour overnight shifts (example : noon–7am). No mandatory call. CRNA covers OB and emergent OR cases after 7pm. CRNA call is voluntary.
• Required Cases : Pediatrics (required), general, orthopedic, OB, GYN, urology, vascular, neuro, ophthalmology, thoracic, cardiac (152 open hearts / year), some trauma. Must be willing to float to OR / Surgery.
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) : EPIC
• Care Team (and ratio) or Independent : Care Team Model – 11 Physicians / 32 CRNAs. Medically directed, 1 : 2 or 1 : 3 ratio. Physicians supervise CRNAs. CRNAs perform spinals and a-lines. CRNAs may do regionals / epidurals depending on interest / skill. Physicians do all cardiac cases.
• Credentialing Timeframe : Up to 90 days. Temps rarely available.
• License required or willing to license : Active Pennsylvania license required at time of presentation. Board Certification required. ACLS and BLS required. IMLC not applicable. CSR / DEA not required.
