Nucor Steel-Auburn (NSAU) is seeking applicants for the position of Maintenance and Engineering Manager.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Leadership role in promoting Nucor's mission ensuring that safety is instilled as a value with a strong focus on quality and environmental stewardship.
• Leadership role in managing the division's maintenance and engineering activities including long range strategic planning. Manage multiple projects simultaneously including various strategic negotiation and continual improvement in our plant reliability with an preventative and predictive maintenance program.
• Leadership role in maximizing divisions' assets, minimizing downtime, and developing a culture of ownership. Provide experience and leadership to critically analyze business needs and help formulate a clear vision and strategy.
• Proven ability to develop team members through training, individual reviews and coaching sessions.
• Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
