Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification.

One two years experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinical environment.

Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Essential Functions

Performs radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers.

Travels to other clinics as directed by Chief Technologist and / or Radiology Director.

Processes room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases.

Uses equipment in compliance to all safety requirements.

Complies with all HIPAA and OSHA requirements.

Establishes and maintains effective communication with physicians, employees and other departments.

Responds to patient questions as required to resolve issues and maintain high patient satisfaction levels.

Maintains patient confidentiality.

The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing radiology procedures and operating X-ray equipment.
