Job Skills / Requirements

Interior and exterior patrols of the property, buildings and facilities, and monitor those areas to ensure Security and Safety. The officer will respond to emergency situations ranging from fire and door alarms to medical and police responses. The officer will respond to take reports, conduct preliminary investigations of incidents, and generate detailed reports of the same.

Hospital Security Officer Responsibilities

• Staying very alert
• Monitoring CCTV camera surveillance
• Patrolling premises frequently to maintain safety of employees, patients and clients
• Using oral de-escalation and patient restraint when needed
• Writing daily reports of any incidents that may occur
• Ensure building is well secured and there are no trespassers

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Can always stay alert
• Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments

Education and Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Covid Vaccination & Booster
• FLU Shot
• Must speak and write English effectively
