About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Purchasing Expeditor / Procurement Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team on a 9–12 month contract. This role ensures that materials and components are delivered on time to support production schedules. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues, track purchase orders, and keep critical stakeholders informed.

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable managing multiple priorities, and enjoy problem-solving, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively track and expedite due and past-due purchase orders with vendors to prevent production delays.
  • Communicate delivery status, shortages, and updates to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Quickly identify and resolve issues that delay receipts (e.g., quantity discrepancies, missing info, incorrect IDs).
  • Coordinate Return-to-Vendor (RTV) and nonconforming material processes, including obtaining RMAs.
  • Maintain accurate data within the ERP / MRP system and update purchase order statuses.
  • Support the purchasing and supply chain team with documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of purchasing, expediting, or inventory control experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with ERP / MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Epicor, or similar).
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities with vendors and internal teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting a manufacturing, electronics, aerospace, or medical device environment.
  • Exposure to purchasing, accounting, or logistics administration.
  • Familiarity with nonconformance or returns processes (RMA / RTV).
  • Why Join Us

  • 9–12 month guaranteed contract with a strong opportunity for permanent conversion.
  • Be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values integrity and continuous improvement.
  • Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing supply chain environment.
