Job Description : Speech Language Pathologist in Home Health
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients in their homes. As a Speech-Language Pathologist in Home Health, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Provide therapy to patients to improve their communication and swallowing abilities
- Educate patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements
Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited programCurrent state license to practice as a Speech Language PathologistCertificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Minimum of 1 year of experience in a home health settingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and reliable transportationIf you are a dedicated and compassionate speech-language pathologist looking to make a difference in the lives of patients in their homes, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
