Role : Workforce Program Coordinator
Location : Louisiana (Remote – must reside in-state)
Contract : 12 Months
Overview :
This role supports Medicaid members in accessing employment opportunities . You will connect with eligible individuals, guide them to job search resources, support their employment journey, and participate in workforce outreach efforts in partnership with the healthcare provider and state program teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Member Outreach & Support
- Collaborate with the healthcare provider and state program teams to receive member contact information.
- Contact members to discuss available employment services and resources.
- Assist members in using the job portal for job search, career tools, and support services.
Employer & Community Engagement
Conduct outreach campaigns to encourage employers to post open roles on the job platform.Communicate with employers to support partnership engagement and job posting needs.Attend job fairs and workforce development events to promote the program and connect with potential participants.Program Outreach & Awareness
Execute a structured outreach strategy to increase program participation.Ensure all outreach activities follow established guidelines and compliance standards.Work Environment & Travel
Fully remote role, but candidate must live in Louisiana (preferably near a major city).In-state travel to meetings, job fairs, and community events is expected (travel expenses reimbursed).Reporting
Reports to the Workforce Program Lead.Regular weekly check-ins and ongoing documentation / administrative tasks are required.
