Role Summary

The Yardman supports the day-to-day maintenance and organization of R Constructions equipment yard and shop. Working closely with the Equipment Manager and Mechanic, this role ensures that the yard is clean, safe, and well-organized, and that tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored, staged, and transported as needed. This is a hands-on, physical role ideal for someone who takes pride in keeping things running behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Yard & Shop Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free yard and shop environment
• Ensure tools and equipment are returned to their designated locations after use
• Manage debris disposal, scrap materials, and general yard waste removal
• Organize material laydown areas and restock supplies as directed
• Maintain fluid levels, spill kits, fire extinguishers, and shop safety signage

Support to the Mechanic

Logistics & Jobsite Readiness
