Call Response Time : 30 mins

Callback : 10%

Phone Consults : 1-2

Patient Volume : 20

Admissions : 1

Rounding Included : Yes

Support Staff : 1 NP / PA, 2 RNs, 1 MA & 2 Office Staff

Required Procedures :

  • Upper GI endoscopy : with biopsy, with foreign body removal, with fulguration of bleeder (cautery vs. laser), With injection of varices
  • Esophageal dilatation / manometry
  • Esophageal manometry interpretation
  • Small Bowel biopsy, Lower GI endoscopy, Sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy : with biopsy, with excision of polyp
  • Liver Biopsy

    • Beds in the Dept : 2

    EMR : Athena & Meditech

    Required to Supervise APPs : Yes

    Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

    Temporary Privileges available : Yes

    Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered

    Requirements : Active VA License
