Job Title : Wound Care Physical Therapist

Experience : Minimum of 1 year preferred

License : State License Required

Certifications : BLS Required

Must-Have :

• Experience in acute care
• Proficiency in assessment and evaluation
• Knowledge of wound care management procedures

Description :

New graduates are considered.

COVID vaccination is required, with medical and religious exemptions accepted upon completion of the necessary forms.

The position involves providing wound care for both inpatient and outpatient complex cases.

Responsibilities include debridement, advanced dressing selection, and the use of wound vacs.

Collaboration with various surgical teams, including plastic surgery, trauma, and orthopedics, is necessary to ensure successful outcomes.

Management of complex traumatic and surgical wounds, as well as chronic wounds such as venous or arterial ulcers, is expected.

Special procedures required include selective debridement and complex wound management.

Attention to time management and effective communication is essential.

The clinician will not float within scope to meet facility needs.

No weekend work is required.

RTO restrictions may apply and need prior approval if greater than 7 days.

Pending state license may be accepted at the time of submission.
