Job Description : 7AM - 6PM CST - Tuesday through Friday Entry support - Process routine entry instruction requests, research missing / incorrect data elements related to import shipments, resolve routine inquiries and requests submitted by internal customers, manage shared email communications, escalate scenarios as needed. MS Office Suite, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel SAP / GTS experience preferred 2-year degree in business or supply chain preferred Understanding of brokerage provider / freight forwarder processes Demonstrated understanding of required commercial invoice elements and their purpose Demonstrated ability to locate, read, and apply 19 CFR for straight-forward import processes o Parts 24, 101, 102, 111, 134, 141-143, 152 Demonstrated ability to correctly utilize HTSUS for straightforward classifications Basic understanding of CBP and CBP approved additional publications o Informed Compliance Publications : Explanatory notes, CROSS or similar, Federal Register, Customs Bulletin Typical Function Review inbound invoices for accuracy Classify basic products under HTSUS correctly Correctly identify IOR and data elements for "right to make entry" Provide document / tracking / status responses to requests Communicate professionally among multiple parties Required Skills : -2-3 Years of experience MS Office Suite, primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel (intermediate level) - 2-3 years of experience working with brokerage provider and freight forwarder for US import processing - 2-3 years of experience with applying principles in 19CFR active import transactions - 2-3 years of experience utilizing HTSUS for straightforward classifications
