Veterinary Technician Overnight

VCA South Shore Weymouth Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Overnight ER/ICU Veterinary Technician to join our thriving, collaborative team. We are a busy 24-hour emergency, referral, multi-specialty, and general practice hospital , and we're looking for technicians who thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are passionate about patient care.

Compensation Highlights

$20 - $30 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status

• Generous overnight differential (11pm - 7am $4.75/hr)

• Additional weekend differential (7pm Fri - 7am Mon: $6.25/hr)

• Evening Differential: (ICU 3pm - 11pm $2/hr)

• Pay based on experience and skill

ER/ICU Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring

• Full technician skill utilization in ER/ICU cases

• Collecting thorough patient histories and performing physical exams

• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement

• Hands-free radiology (associate safety is a top priority)

• Collaborating with doctors and technicians across all hospital services

• Delivering compassionate, high-quality care to critical and emergent patients
