Rigger (2nd shift)

• As a Rigger, you will
• Perform a variety of mechanical duties involving deck machinery, engine room work, electronic equipment, staging work, testing, steel / pipe work, general dock, rudders, shafting, wheel work, and anchor chain work
• Operate equipment for assembly and installation
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on facility machinery
• Build / inspect scaffolding and staging
• Work with Cranes, Winches and Cargo Booms
• Work a variety of shifts (1 st shift 6 : 00 am to 2 : 30pm, 2 nd shift 3 : 00pm to 11 : 30 am, 3 rd shift 11 : 45 pm 7 : 45 am shifts may vary depending on site and workload)
• Required Education, Experience, & Skills
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Able to wear appropriate protective gear
• Able to physically perform essential job duties with or without accommodations
• Able to work at heights, in confined spaces and have the ability to climb staircases and ladders of varying sizes
• Able to read, write and comprehend simple instructions
• Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral or diagram form
• Able to calculate and understand units of measure, including fractions and decimals
• Know how to measure using a scale and tape measure
• Ability to read a micrometer and dial indicator
• One or more of the following certifications may be required consistent with business needs :
• Forklift certification
• Dynalift certification
• Payloader lift certification
• Extender boon forklift license and certification

Full-Time Salary Range : $59800 - $91645

Please note : This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to : business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
