Apprentice Plumber

The basic functions of the Apprentice Plumber are to :

• Assist the Plumber on the job site, loading the truck with tools and / or materials, assist with inventory of truck supplies and job site material inventory.
• Help care for company property (i.e. trucks, tools, equipment).
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Willingness to learn and take direction / instructions from management

Reporting Relationships :

The Apprentice reports directly to the Foreman or Superintendent for job related direction.

Requirements : Education :

Required : Some high school

Preferred : High School Diploma or GED.

Experience : Required : None

Preferred : High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 months plumbing or general construction experience.

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities, Licenses :

Required : Good communication skills, willingness to learn, ability to lift 50 pounds, OSHA 10 Certification (or within 90 days from date of hire)

Preferred : Same as above but with working knowledge of plumbing
