As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. This role requires both carrying a firearm and driving as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal at financial institution locations. Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and / or employees while maintaining a professional presence. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or security-related incidents. Document and report all incidents, observations, and / or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures. Work closely with local law enforcement and emergency services when required, maintaining clear communication during incidents. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Operate and maintain any assigned security-related equipment, including communication devices and access control systems. Adhere to all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and training requirements, including those specific to armed posts.

Minimum Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
