We are looking for an experienced Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) to join our client's outpatient Community Health Center located in Surprise, the Greater Phoenix area. The ideal candidate has 3 years of experience performing preventative women's health care, is Bilingual (English / Spanish) and has practiced in a collaborative clinic environment. The WHNP will be responsible for conducting physical exams, providing education and counseling, and administering medication. Candidate MUST be a Certified WHNP or AGNP to be considered!

Skills Required of the WHNP / AGNP :

Licensed Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner

Active AZ license or ability to obtain

3 plus years of experience as an NP

Bilingual (Spanish / English)

Ability to work collegially with both Professional Medical and support staff

Recording a patients’ medical histories and symptoms

Performing physical exams and observing women

Creating patient care plans or contributing to existing plans

Performing and ordering diagnostic tests

Diagnosing various health problems

Analyzing test results or changes in a patient’s condition

Giving patients medicines and treatments and evaluating their response
