Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled Sign Language Interpreter to provide munication support at an elementary school setting in Antioch, CA. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and involves facilitating effective munication between hearing-impaired students, staff, and educators.

Responsibilities :

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language (ASL) and vice versa during classroom instruction and school activities
• Support students' access to educational content by ensuring clear munication
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt munication methods as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Participate in relevant meetings and trainings to enhance service delivery
