iDEAL Hire is seeking a School Services Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Saint Augustine, Florida.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – (CCC)

Primary Purpose :

Provide speech-language therapy services to students with communication disorders, helping them succeed in their educational program.

Position Details :

Location : St. Augustine

Pay : Starting at $48 / hr

Hours : May vary based on location

Schedules : May vary based on location

Qualifications :

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • FL SLP License (FLBSLP)
  • FL DOE Certification
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC)

    • Skills & Experience :

  • Knowledge of assessment tools, therapy strategies, and behavior management
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • 1+ year of supervised clinical experience

    • Responsibilities :

  • Evaluate and provide therapy for students with speech / language disorders
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and track student progress
  • Participate in ARD meetings and collaborate with teachers and parents
  • Provide training to school staff on communication strategies
  • Maintain records and ensure compliance with state / federal guidelines
  • Supervise SLP assistants when assigned

    • Work Environment :

  • School-based setting with occasional travel
  • Requires standing, sitting, and occasional lifting (up to 45 lbs.)
  • Must handle interruptions and maintain emotional control under stress.
  • Total hours may vary (approx. 40 hours per week)
