Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in construction coordination, ideally in semiconductor or high-tech environments. Working knowledge of construction systems, cleanroom protocols, and project sequencing. Proficient in MS Project, Bluebeam, Procore, and other project management tools. OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Overview
Position Summary
ABM Industries is seeking a skilled General Construction Coordinator III to support tool installation and construction coordination efforts at the Samsung Taylor Semiconductor Plant. This mid-level role is responsible for managing construction scopes, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring alignment with Samsung’s standards and ABM’s quality and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate tool installation and general construction activities across multiple trades and subcontractors.
- Assist in managing project schedules, milestones, and resource allocation for assigned scopes.
- Support site logistics, safety compliance, and access control.
- Review construction drawings, RFIs, submittals, and change orders with guidance from senior coordinators.
- Help resolve field-level issues and escalate concerns to project leadership as needed.
- Participate in commissioning, punch list resolution, and system turnover activities.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
