We are seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I for General Specialty PMs to become an integral part of our operating room team. Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center, 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare materials, supplies, and equipment for surgical procedures while ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile field and assist the operating team effectively.
• Function as a Second Assistant when necessary, anticipating the needs of surgeons throughout procedures.
• Ensure equipment and supplies are ready and notify staff about any issues that arise.
• Transport patients and equipment, and maintain specialty carts to ensure availability and working condition.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various surgical procedures and equipment used in the operating room.

Qualifications :

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within six months of hire.
• No previous experience required, making this a perfect role for new graduates.

Physical Requirements :

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push / pull with 30 lbs. of force, and perform a variety of physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must possess functional sight and hearing, and be able to wear required personal protective equipment.
