Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opening is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position within a K-12 school setting in Oxnard, CA, for the 2025-2026 school year. The role is a full-time, onsite contract position, requiring 37.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate holds a California SLP license or California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) certification and has experience in pediatrics, healthcare SLP services, or school-based speech therapy. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and interventions to K-12 students.
  • Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to support student communication needs.
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and document progress according to state and district guidelines.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy and school-based settings.
  • Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable for recent graduates.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations.
  • Valid California SLP license or California CTC certification.
