We have partnered with a growing company on their search for a Tax & Consulting Manager with proven payroll and supervision expertise. The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related responsibilities within the organization ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This role will involve managing the company’s tax planning and reporting activities, processing payroll, assisting with 401K administration, generating wage reports, identifying tax-saving opportunities, mitigating tax risks, and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors. To be successful in this role, the Tax & Consulting Manager must have in-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

• Timely preparing and filing of all tax returns
• Identify and mitigate tax risks
• Review tax returns and quarterly / yearly projections
• Develop tax strategies
• Prepare tax account journal entries
• Review and analyze financial statements
• Implement best practices and improvements
• Coordinate tax audits
• Review staff tax transactions
• Oversee special tax related projects

The ideal Tax & Consulting Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting / Finance / Taxation.
