Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Comply with all The Great Escape policies and proceduresOversee all operations within assigned location including but not limited to the upkeep of the restaurant or location, the grounds (patio and surrounding areas)Greet guests and handle their concerns when brought upOrder goods based on inventory levelsCount goods during inventory each week and month endControl quality of food according to NYS Health Department regulationsControl portion size and wasteMaintain all safety regulationsEnsure positive guest experience within assigned locationBe able to answer questions the employees have about various procedures such as food preparation, food storage, and cashier proceduresProvide employees with on the job training using the Standard Operating Procedures as a main focus pointEnsure goods are pulled and available for all locations based on inventory levels by certain time each dayControl portion size and waste in accordance to displayed standardsHandle discipline and reward situations with team members within assigned areaManage break schedules in accordance with NYS Labor LawsHurricane Grill & Wings Specific Responsibilities
AM Shift :
Organize and Execute Daily Opening Line CheckOrganize, Create and Assist with Prep as needed. Offer Guidance to Designated Prep Person as to what is most important and how to achieve the highest results while maintaining speed and efficiencyReceive Deliveries, Rotate Stock and ensure that all items are good and within CodePM Shift :
Ensure the Kitchen is sparkling and looking as new as possible at the end of the day. You are the last one outBoth Shifts :
Maintain Organization and Cleanliness of Walk In CoolersMaintain Health Department Standards for your Shift. Including but not limited to, Rotation of Product, Temperature Controls, Labeling, Waste LogsMaintain Health and Safety standards within the Kitchen, Storage and Dish areasAct as Expo during your Shift, jumping on the line to help with big orders or cover breaksOrganize breaks to minimize impact to Guest experienceCheck overall cleanliness of sinks, kitchen towels, uniforms, sanitizer buckets, floors, walls and tables according to NYS Health Dept StandardsSkills and Qualifications :
Must be at least 18 years oldMust be able to stand, or walk for extended periods of timeFor safety purposes, the individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English languageAbility to actively communicate with large groups of GuestsBe available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekendsMust have good math skills or experience in related fieldMust be a team playerMust be able to lift a minimum of 25 poundsMust have proven problem solving abilityMust be friendly, organized and outgoingExceptional work ethic and attention to detailOther Functions : All other duties assigned or necessary to support the resort as a whole.
