What You'll Do : Core Responsibilities
Technical Expertise
Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate advanced medical and clinical devices
Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections
Install and test new equipment systems in clinical environments
Evaluate demonstration units and submit performance reports
Deliver in-service training for clinical staff on safe equipment use
Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures
Project & Administrative Support
Maintain accurate documentation in Clinical Engineering software systems
Support and mentor junior BMETs and technical staff
Coordinate with vendors and external service providers
Stay up to date with new technologies through training and research
Participate in rotating on-call support for emergency service needs
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Engineering and 2+ years of related experience, OR
Associate degree in Biomedical, Electronics, or Computer Technology and 4+ years of experience
Strong working knowledge of electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics , and medical science
ICC Certification preferred but not required
Physically able to lift and transport medical equipment safely
Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills
Schedule
Standard day shifts with occasional flexibility required for equipment access or urgent service support
