Customer Service Representative – Counter Sales (HVAC Experience Required)

Location :  Shreveport, LA

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM

Pay : $18.00 per hour

Benefits : Full benefits package available

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dependable and customer-oriented Customer Service Representative for a counter sales role. This position requires hands-on HVAC experience and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will work directly with walk-in customers and contractors, assisting with HVAC product inquiries, orders, and support.

Responsibilities :

Assist walk-in customers with product selection, pricing, and availability

Process sales, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently

Provide technical support and product information related to HVAC systems

Maintain a clean and organized sales counter and display area

Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries

Coordinate with warehouse and vendors to fulfill customer orders

Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed

Build strong relationships with repeat customers and ensure satisfaction

Qualifications :

HVAC experience is required (residential or commercial)

Prior experience in customer service, counter sales, or parts department preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Basic computer skills and ability to learn point-of-sale systems

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
