Job Title : Accounting Clerk

Department : Accounting

Reports To : Accounting Manager

Pay : $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Job Type : Full-Time Non-Exempt, 40 Hours per Week

Hours : 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM M-F

Job Description :

HOIST Fitness Systems, a leading manufacturer of fitness strength equipment, is seeking a highly motivated General Accounting Clerk to support our accounting team. This role requires the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities :

  • Daily product invoicing, posting of parts invoices, and entry of accounts receivable receipts
  • Code and enter weekly accounts payable shipping invoices
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
  • Pull and format reporting as needed
  • Provide phone coverage for the front desk as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications / Skills :

  • Competence in MS Office, databases, and accounting software; NetSuite experience and ability to quickly learn and understand new software is a plus
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Effectively communicates with leadership, as well as both internal and external customers
  • Proven time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills
  • Regular and predictable attendance

    • Education and Experience Requirements :

  • High School diploma and 2+ years of related accounts receivable work or higher education related to accounting
