Manufacturing Purchaser

This position is a DIRECT HIRE ROLE from day one

Responsibilities :

• Procurement of materials, equipment and services
• Vendor sourcing, contract negotiations, purchase order management
• Research, identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality and delivery speed
• Prepare work orders and process purchase orders and requisitions following company guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and working with warehouse / operations to ensure adequate supply
• Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts with vendors to achieve cost savings and timely delivery schedule
• Maintain records of purchases, pricing and other information in system
• Evaluating supplier performance and resolving any issues related to delays, shortages or other concerns
• Working with different departments to forecast procurement needs

Qualifications :

Hours are;

Monday through Friday – First shift

The pay is up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
