About the Role

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will gather vital diagnostic information using radioactive materials, advanced imaging technology, and your clinical expertise. Your role includes :

  • Performing Nuclear Medicine exams promptly while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Working collaboratively with healthcare colleagues to enhance patient care.
  • Communicating effectively with patients about procedures and their cooperation.
  • Ensuring a safe and comforting environment for patients.
  • Maintaining equipment readiness and adhering to Point of Care quality control standards.
  • What You Need

    Education :

  • Associate Degree or equivalent from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Licenses / Certifications Required :

  • Certified as a Medical Radiologic Technologist by the Texas Medical Board.
  • Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) or ARRT (N).
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of starting employment.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 6 months of starting employment.
