This remote position covers the Northwest geography. Candidates should reside in or have access to major airports in : San Francisco, Seattle, Boise, Reno, Las Vegas, Portland or Cheyenne.

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) DMD will develop and maintain professional relationships with prominent, therapeutically relevant healthcare providers and key decision makers related to Catalyst’s neuromuscular programs / products. The candidate will deliver presentations and engage in strategic discussions on medical / clinical, health economics and outcomes data. They will interact with healthcare professionals, including individual physicians, researchers, managed markets medical and pharmacy directors, hospital decision-makers, formulary committees, consultant pharmacists, state Medicaid decision-makers, and others.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future KOLs in the DMD space, scientific experts, cooperative study groups and study sites.
- Collaborate with key professionals at the national, regional, and local level, educating them with current, fair balanced medical, scientific and pharmacoeconomic information regarding Catalyst’s therapies.
- Increase the awareness of marketed products to help healthcare professionals make informed therapeutic decisions.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of regional and / or national advisory board meetings for marketed and pipeline assets, including delivering presentations, assisting with slide preparation / review, and facilitating interactive discussions.
- Provide resources for presenting medical information and collect feedback from decision makers regarding utility and marketplace comparisons.
- Deliver targeted internal training on topics such as study updates, congress news, and latest scientific developments; implement and disseminate high-quality medical and scientific educational programs; give clinical and scientific presentations at sites / hospitals.
- Support Catalyst-sponsored clinical trials on-site through scientific presentations and discussions that contextualize the program, identify enrollment barriers, and provide feedback on study design.
- Understand trial / referral networks and participate in investigator meetings per approved strategy; expedite the development and collection of quality data for pipeline assets and marketed products.
- Support projects from inception to conclusion as assigned by the medical affairs director.
- Provide clinical and value-based input into Catalyst communications and materials; assist in training new associates including MSLs and regional account managers.
Education / Experience / Skills
Must have an advanced degree in medical / biosciences (e.g., M.D., D.O., Ph.D., PharmD, DNP).5 years clinical research, pharmacy, life science, pharma industry / academic-related experience (including relevant fellowship).Current neurology relationships in the DMD space; 5+ years of MSL experience, preferably in DMD or Rare Disease.Experience in the DMD space.Understanding of the pharmaceutical corporate environment and ability to liaise between Commercial, Marketing, Payor and Medical in a compliant manner.Strong, broad-based scientific and pharmaceutical knowledge with extensive presentation and teaching skills.Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable discussing drug information and disease-state management.Willingness to work compliantly cross-functionally within the organization.Ability to lead and motivate team members without direct reporting lines, including training and mentoring new MSLs, marketing, and commercial colleagues.Demonstrated ability to assess issues and think strategically.Preferred Skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and slide production; ability to generate qualitative and quantitative reports and compile competitor information.Description Of Work Environment

The base salary for this position will range from $182,000 to $210,000. Candidate experience, professional licensing, and geographic location will be taken into consideration.
