In addition to shucking you will be prepping and guest facing for the entire shift. On slower nights you will run food, take orders and generally help out the bartender on duty.
This is 4day / wk job. Usually Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays off but likely to change due to requests off from other employees. You will always have two days off in a row. Hours are 2-10pm. And on weekends 2-11pm.
This is not your average kitchen job; we believe that a bar or restaurant is an organism, and every person - from the host to the shucker, plays a critical role; because of this, we split tips EQUALLY between all hourly employees, front + back of house. That means everyone makes good money. Pay plus tips averages around $30-$40 per hour; our pay structure promotes a profoundly positive team environment. We also offer health, dental and vision insurance subsidies after three months for full time employees, dining discounts, regular wine and spirits training and free parking.
