Job Description - Create Customized Treatment Approaches: Accurately assess patients' needs and design tailored therapy plans to help them achieve their functional goals.
- Implement Evidence-based Interventions: Apply proven practices to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive skills, and everyday activities.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide thorough and holistic care.
- Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their loved ones on therapy methods to foster ongoing improvement in their home environments.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Treatment: Regularly evaluate clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as required to keep patients on the path to success.
Education - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
- Continuing education or further certifications are encouraged and supported
Certifications - Must possess a valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
