We are looking for a skilled Certification Test Engineer to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. JOB SUMMARY
The Certification Test Engineer is responsible for developing and executing test lab planning, schedules, set up and conducting of developmental and certification testing for both Seats and Furniture. Test types include, but are not limited to component, static, dynamic, abuse, cycle and flammability.
Note : The primary difference between job levels is tied to skill level, complexity of the problem solving, and year of experience. Job assignments will be based on experience, job opening and budget availability, and the performance level of the incumbent.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Set-up, conduct and monitor dynamic, static and abuse / cycle testing, including data acquisition systems
- Maintain test equipment and fixtures in good working order including calibrations, spare parts, procurement, maintenance etc.
- Read and understand test plans
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Review test matrix and design test setups
- Design and build / oversee build test fixtures / platforms
- Create and maintain internal test facility manual, procedures, work instructions, etc.
- Maintain internal testing schedule
- Coordinate with engineers and other departments
- Keep up to date with the latest industry testing methodologies and testing equipment
- Monitor and document test results
- Review and write test reports
- May oversee test technicians
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar technical discipline is requiredExperience : Job assignments will be based on experience, job opening and budget availability, and the performance level of the incumbent.
Level III : 7+ years of experienceSkills :
Proficient with Microsoft OfficeElectro / mechanical backgroundAbility to work independently and as part of a broader teamMechanically inclined (familiar with shop tools)Fluent in English (written, oral and presentation)Good organization and time-management skills.Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Skills / Experience :

Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
Salary Range Transparency : $100,000 - $125,000 annually
