Position Summary

The Claims Manager is an exciting opportunity at MultiCare managing medical malpractice and general liability claims and lawsuits. In this role you will evaluate standard of care, causation, and damages to set reserves.

Responsibilities

  • You will investigate potential claims, claims and lawsuits
  • You will determine information and documents required to fully assess liability, and damages
  • You will work directly with unrepresented patients and family to gather information and resolve claims
  • You will participate in the communication and resolution program by identifying appropriate cases and helping to guide disclosure conversations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • At least ten years' experience managing liability claims
  • At least two years' experience managing healthcare professional liability claims
  • Previous employment for a hospital system preferred

    • Pay and Benefit Expectations

    We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay range is $123,198.00 - $177,278.00 USD and may be influenced by factors such as skill set, experience, and education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will reflect the appropriate step on the pay scale for the applicant's experience.
