Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,136 per week in Rock Hill, SC

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum years of experience required License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have : - Experience in open heart surgery, neuro surgery, vascular surgery, trauma, and overflow medical - Ability to support as needed in medical intensive care, surgical intensive care, and other medical units with a maximum of 4 patients Description : This position requires a Registered Nurse with experience in the surgical and medical care of patients. The role involves providing care for patients undergoing complex procedures and surgeries. The nurse will work in a setting with varying nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 1, 2 : 1, and 3 : 1. Common procedures include chest tubes, swan placements, temporary pacemakers, and central lines. Charting will be done using electronic health record systems. Weekend shifts are required every other week. There may be a requirement to float to other areas within skillset as needed. The nurse is expected to adhere to policies and standards of care.
