DCM leads statewide efforts in audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) integration , including structured wiring, audio and acoustic design, evidence presentation systems, videoconferencing, streaming, digital signage, and accessibility technologies. We are seeking talented, motivated professionals who are passionate about technology, communication, and public service. Candidates should have experience in areas such as technical training, documentation, audiovisual engineering, IT systems, logistics, or project management.
We are currently recruiting for the following roles :
Training, Documentation, and Marketing
This role requires extensive travel and is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive technical training programs to audiences of varying sizes and technical proficiency. The position involves creating clear and engaging instructional materials—both written and video-based—as well as documenting complex audiovisual and IT system installations.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to translate technical concepts into accessible, user-friendly content and possess strong interpersonal skills for effectively engaging diverse groups, including judges, attorneys, and court staff. Flexibility is essential, as training sessions may be conducted both in person and virtually.
The role also requires exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to performing quality assurance (QA) testing of courtroom systems following deployment. The ideal candidate will actively gather and analyze user feedback to deliver customization and optimization of courtroom Evidence Presentation Systems (EPS), ensuring seamless integration and ease of use for all participants.
Deployment, Configuration, and Engineering of Audiovisual Solutions
This highly technical, hands-on role is responsible for the installation, configuration, and deployment of advanced audiovisual (AV) and information technology (IT) systems across court locations statewide. Key responsibilities include running and terminating audio, video, and network cabling; configuring and testing equipment such as mixers, amplifiers, microphones, speakers, networked cameras, and video distribution systems; and ensuring all components function reliably within integrated courtroom environments.
The position requires frequent travel to court facilities, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds, climb ladders up to 8 feet, and safely operate basic hand and power tools. Candidates must possess a solid understanding of networking principles, IP configuration, and AV signal flow, along with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will take pride in precision, cable management, and the professional presentation of all system installations.
Support Services, System Monitoring, and Research & Development
This role is responsible for monitoring the performance and reliability of deployed audiovisual (AV) and IT systems, providing technical support, and conducting research on emerging technologies to enhance courtroom functionality. Core responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving support tickets, performing system diagnostics, and maintaining performance dashboards. Candidates should have experience with system administration tools such as Active Directory (AD) and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), as well as familiarity with ticketing and asset management systems.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, particularly in diagnosing complex audio and video signal flow issues. Some travel to court locations will be required for emergency response, equipment replacement, and minor on-site repairs. Additional responsibilities may include equipment shipping, delivery, and asset tracking to ensure accurate inventory management and continuity of courtroom operations.
