Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Critical Care Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Job Function : Day Shift or Night Shift. 8AM-8 : 30PM or 8PM-8 : 30AM. Evaluate and monitor the patient's progress. Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition. Deliver regular updates to doctors, patients, and their family members. Begin treatment and monitor doses. If necessary, respond to a medical emergency and alert the appropriate doctors. Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in the ICU unit. Complete all necessary paperwork before transferring a patient. Maintain patient records. Create and implement effective care plans. Job Requirements : Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Current RN license for the state of New York. 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty. BLS & ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
