The City Council is actively seeking an Information Systems Administrator.

This position is appointed by the Council Secretary (Chapter 11, Jacksonville Ordinance Code). This is professional work in the design, organizing, implementation, and modification of audio-visual systems and equipment, and is responsible for the production of video programs and projects promoting City Council initiatives; production includes concept development, script writing, filming and editing. Job duties include both technical and administrative work. The work requires an understanding of audio-visual production through a degree granting school, or an equivalent level of experience. The work is performed in office and field environments. Operates a motor vehicle, computer, cameras, audio-visual, and standard studio equipment. The physical demands are moderate and consist of lifting, operating, and carrying cameras, film and video production equipment weighing up to forty (40) pounds. The work is performed under limited supervision where assignments are subject to established procedures, practices, standards, and / or well-defined policies, and worker plans and organizes, determines their own priorities, and work is reviewed.
