As a Security Professional - Distribution Access Control in Northampton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and managing access points. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter potential risks, and providing outstanding customer service. Leveraging technology such as computers or tablets, you will support secure operations while embodying our values of agility, reliability, and innovation. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Monitor access points to control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the logistics and distribution locationVerify identification credentials and maintain visitor and contractor logs according to site-specific policiesProvide customer service while carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries from employees and guestsRespond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocolsConduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activitiesCommunicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and site contacts regarding security-related observations and incidentsDocument and report any suspicious activity, security-related concerns, or incidents as required by site proceduresAssist with emergency response activities according to Allied Universal and site protocolsWhat We're Looking For :

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements :
