**Maintenance Electrician for PEMEX Deer Park

We are looking for positive, energetic electricians with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Applicants should have the ability to:

• Perform tasks including but not limited to electrical. PLC troubleshooting and repair of equipment
• Work independently and pay attention to detail, including accurate data collection and tracking of preventative maintenance information
• Properly document troubleshooting of events
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and corrective repairs of electrical equipment
• Install and control electrical and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders and blue prints to perform required maintenance and service
• Must be able to perform MCC, Switchgear Work and Rack in/Rack outs
• Inform appropriate management of potential electrical/mechanical problems and inherent danger involved
• Fabricate and install rigid aluminum, ;and conduit
• Must be able to fabricate and install conduit supports
• Must have the ability to install wire and cable
• Must be able to perform troubleshooting on energized motor controls
• Must have general knowledge of maintenance of industrial equipment
• Can fabricate and install breakers and fuses, cable trays, batteries, battery charger, buss duct, junction boxes, tagging, term, motors, and transformers
• Can size thermal-overloads, breakers, and fuses
• Able to terminate motors and transformers
• Understand the proper use of hydraulic tools
• Can read blueprints and national electric code requirements
• Knowledgeable in the use of electrical equipment testers including , AMP meter and 1000-volt insulation tester
• Knowledgeable in communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Written Skill Assessment.
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test and applicable background checks.
• Minimum 4 years craft-specific experience.
