Job Opening : Butcher – Sasta Bazar (Milwaukee, WI)

Join a Trusted South Asian Grocery & Wholesale Team

Sasta Bazar is looking for a skilled and dependable Butcher to join our meat department. We serve a loyal community with fresh halal meats and groceries. If you take pride in your craft and want to be part of a family-run business, we’d love to meet you.

Position Details :

  • Job Title : Butcher
  • Location : Sasta Bazar – Milwaukee, WI
  • Employment Type : Full-Time
  • Schedule : 6 Days a Week (Weekends Required)
  • Pay : Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities :

  • Cut, trim, and prepare beef, goat, lamb, and poultry (including whole animal processing)
  • Fulfill custom cutting orders for retail and wholesale customers
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of cutting area and equipment
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of meat inventory
  • Sharpen and maintain knives and tools
  • Communicate with front-end team and report low-stock or customer requests

    • Requirements :

  • Experience in a butcher / meat cutter role (halal cutting experience preferred)
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for long hours
  • Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and meat handling standards
  • Comfortable using band saws and knives
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking
  • Speaks English; Urdu / Hindi / Punjabi a plus
