Clerk / Treasurer Position

Nestled in the heart of the Mesabi Iron Range, the City of Buhl, Minnesota seeks a Clerk / Treasurer to provide executive leadership and collaborate with our elected officials to serve our community. Key responsibilities include :

• Plan and direct city operations and services
• Develop budgets, pursue grant opportunities, and ensure fiscal responsibility
• Serve as liaison between council, staff, and residents
• Prepare council agendas / minutes and maintain official records
• Oversee staff hiring, training, and evaluation across all departments
• Lead strategic planning initiatives
