Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Assistant VP of Fiscal Affairs, the Director of Campus Services manages a broad scope of revenue-generating business units including Food Services, Bookstore, Catering, Shuttle Services, Card Services, Parking Services, as well as vending services. The objective is to constantly manage the areas to bring the highest level of service and quality to the campus while achieving a balanced budget and a positive financial return to the college.

Minimum annual rate $64,100

  • Responsibilities

    Directs department Operations - 30%

  • Trains, assigns, directs, supervises, evaluates, and disciplines personnel.
  • Develops, maintains, and provides financial reports, including reconciliation of cash to sales, cost of goods sold, monthly profit and loss statements, budgets, and general accounting reports.
  • Reviews and monitors expenses for auxiliary services.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures.
  • Works with college leadership to ensure the auxiliary services promote the mission of the college.
  • Manages Campus Services Operations - 20%

  • Functional oversight of the following areas : Bookstore Operations, Dining Services, Catering Services, Vending Services, Card Services, Leasing Services, Parking.
  • Oversee the purchasing of, marketing of, and sales of goods in the Bookstore.
  • Manages full lifecycle of vendor management in cooperation with the USG / DSC Procurement offices.
  • Serves as point-of-contact for all auxiliary units in regard to five-year budgets and strategic plans.
  • Works with the AVP for Fiscal Affairs on an annual basis to produce a 10-year cash flow analysis of the Public Private Venture ¿ DSC Parking Deck.
  • Represents DSC at the USG Committees regarding Auxiliary Services, Card Services etc.
  • Creates and disseminates reports to various stakeholders including BOR.
  • Manages server maintenance - 10%

  • Manages the maintenance of Transact, Mobile Print / Uni-Print, Instant ID, AIMS, Cloud POS, and Pharos servers.
  • Oversight of Parking Services and Food Trucks on Campus - 15%

  • Supervises staff who perform day-to-day activities for parking on campus.
  • Meets with the Campus Services Coordinator to analyze parking data and implement strategic plans.
  • Serves on parking committee to review issues and regulations.
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures regarding parking on campus.
  • Serves as final point of escalation for all service complaints from customers regarding parking services.
  • Provides oversight for staff responsible for managing food trucks on campus.
  • Performs a variety of related duties - 15%

  • Verifies commission reports and payments from third-party vendors.
  • Serves as liaison to campus departments to support existing services and develop new services.
  • Coordinates the financial aid processes with the Bursar¿s Office, Financial Aid, and OCIS.
  • Serves as the primary liaison between Fiscal Affairs and the Dean of Students Office.
  • Coordinates the Inclusive Access process and determines important dates with the Bursar Office and Bookstore.
  • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field or equivalent related work experience.
  • Three years of related experience required.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a course of study related to the occupational field required.
  • More than five years of higher education experience.
