We are seeking a dynamic News Editor with a sharp editorial eye, global perspective, and passion for business journalism. As News Editor, you will play a central role in shaping CEOWORLD’s editorial agenda, managing a fast-moving news desk, and delivering high-quality coverage to a global executive audience.

Responsibilities

  • Curate, assign, and edit daily news stories for accuracy, clarity, and impact.
  • Develop editorial calendars aligned with CEOWORLD’s strategic priorities.
  • Lead and mentor a team of writers and contributors, ensuring top-tier editorial standards.
  • Work closely with senior editors to refine coverage angles, headlines, and storytelling approaches.
  • Monitor breaking news, business trends, and global developments to keep CEOWORLD ahead of the curve.
  • Ensure content adheres to CEOWORLD’s voice, brand, and style.
  • Collaborate with design, social, and digital teams to optimize content for multi-platform reach.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a news editor, senior journalist, or equivalent role in a leading business / media publication.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with strong command of business and economic topics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven newsroom.
  • Strong global perspective and understanding of international markets.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing writers and freelancers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
