We are looking for a Tool Crib Attendant who specializes in keeping power tools, handheld tools, and measuring devices safe and ready to use. This role is less about counting inventory and more about diagnosing small issues, performing quick repairs, and making sure crews can rely on their tools every day.
Key Responsibilities :
- Repair and maintain common jobsite tools : drills, grinders, saws, welding leads, digital gauges, and measuring equipment.
- Perform basic electrical fixes : replacing cords, plugs, switches, and fuses.
- Inspect and tag tools before re-issuing them to shop and field teams.
- Track and document repair history, inspections, and tool condition.
- Work with Safety and Maintenance teams to decide when tools can be fixed vs. replaced.
- Keep the crib area clean, organized, and stocked with repair parts and small consumables.
- Deliver or pick up tools from job sites as needed.
- Other duties as instructed.
Qualifications :
Experience repairing power tools or handheld tools (3+ years preferred).Comfort with basic electrical troubleshooting and small part replacement.Ability to maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections.Knowledge of PPE use and OSHA safety standards.Forklift experience.English proficiency for labeling, documentation, and repair logs.What We Offer :
